Motorcyclist airlifted to Syracuse hospital after crash near Rome

Floyd, N.Y. — A motorcyclist was airlifted to a Syracuse hospital Sunday after a truck hit her near Rome, deputies said.
The crash was reported at about 10:30 a.m. on State Route 365 in the town of Floyd, according to Robert Maciol, the Oneida County sheriff.
The motorcyclist, Phoebe Kline, of Syracuse, lost control of the motorcycle and exited a driveway onto the road, Maciol said. Kline was struck by a truck heading eastbound on State Route 365.
